How Old Is Teotihuacan?

Teotihuacan is almost as large as Giza and no one knows who built it. It is said to be about 2,000 years old. Is that true? What happened to the city and why was it abandoned? New mathematical research proves that Teotihuacan is much older than always assumed – 100 times older.

Fig. 1: A view on the “Pyramid of the Moon”, taken from the “Pyramid of the Sun”. Teotihuacan is so colossal that it is impossible to photograph the whole site while standing on it. No one has an idea who built these pyramids. But we know who built them and when – Homo sapiens, between 210,000 and 225,000 years ago. Homo sapiens wanders over our planet for more than 400,000 years. That is not a secret – it is even generally accepted. Homo sapiens appears to have been very active leaving many stone buildings. What do our generations leave to marvel over in a far future? Mainly plastics. Do you really think that our very ancient ancestors left nothing except some stone arrow heads? And do you believe that is a rational scientific approach? | Footage: Public Domain

Facts About Teotihuacan

There has already been enough said and written about Teotihuacan, so it is pointless to repeat it all over again – there are enough sources to consult. This article will deal with Teotihuacan in a totally different way – a mathematical way.

To get to the core of this impressive giant of a structure, it is necessary to separate beliefs and assumptions from facts. The fact is that we know nothing about Teotihuacan. Therefore, there is not much more to say about Teotihuacan than what is known from the mainstream sources.

The only thing that can be done now is to measure, and to mathematically process the data, and to see what results.

Teotihuacan Before Restoration

Fig. 2: Teotihuacan before it was restored. Who even knows this today? It looked like a natural hill. The site had to be unearthed, like most other Mesoamerican sites, before it was opened to the public. It took 75 years to restore Teotihuacan to its original state. Did we have to “unearth” the Colosseum in Rome?

What is Real Science?

When you want to enter the terrain of real science, your ideas must be:

  • verifiable to anyone
  • accessible to anyone
  • presented in a language understandable for anyone.

When was the last time we were able to verify the data and interpretations collected from archaeologists and historians? We have not seen anything yet, except conservative ideas that do not make much sense and point to a dubious age of 2,550 years BP.

Typical Paradigm Problems – the Nampa Figurine

paradigm is a kind of framework in which a trained professional tends to think and tends to solve encountered problems. “Think outside the box” is often said in management training. How well can scientists think outside the box?

A good example would be the mysterious Nampa figurine, extracted in Idaho from a depth of about 300 feet by a drilling crew? Geologists say these layers are many millions of years old. Archaeologists say that is impossible.

So, what do we do now? Science only offers deafening silence. There are some noisy extroverts on websites such as badarchaeology.com. In their attempt to debunk this figurine they make a big mess of geology, drilling engineering, and human intelligence.

With the same kind of logic, we could claim that dinosaurs were alive just a few thousand years ago.

Science is humanity’s best attempt to describe reality. But there are many reasons to reject numerous mainstream theories, especially when it comes to our ancient history. There is simply too much mystery deleted, left unexplained, or simply ignored because the ruling paradigm does not condone good “thinking out of the box”.

Truth is so obscure in these times, and falsehood so established, that, unless we love the truth, we cannot know it. — Blaise Pascal

Why is Teotihuacan so Differently Oriented?

The pyramids of Teotihuacan are among the largest on the planet. Why is Teotihuacan not oriented in the same way as the pyramids of Giza? Teotihuacan and Giza have even some similarities, like the arrangement and the dimensions of the base. There are people who have created amazing complex theories to explain why Teotihuacan is oriented in this strange way.

The pyramids of Giza are very accurately oriented to the current North pole. This way of orientation is called cardinal orientation. The Cardinals are the wind directions North, East, South, and West.

They always seem to forget about Occam’s Razor, which perfectly states that a theory with the least assumptions is most likely to be the correct one. Only people who do not like to know the truth claim that Occam’s theory is wrong.

Is there a hidden Pyramid code encrypted in Teotihuacan? Why is Teotihuacan so strangely oriented, so strikingly aligned?

Teotihuacan Was Once Oriented to a Different Ancient GEOGRAPHIC North Pole

Fig. 4: Teotihuacan is oriented at an angle of about 15.5 degrees with regard to the geographical North pole. The reason this is done has never been solved, until now. | © Mario Buildreps

When we look how the pyramids of Giza are oriented, there is no sufficient reason to assume that the builders of Teotihuacan would purposely oriented their structure in another way. While there are striking similarities between the two pyramids, such as the size of their base and their typical arrangement, the orientation of Teotihuacan’s orientation is quite different – why?

The answer is in fact quite simple. Teotihuacan was once oriented to a geographic North pole on Greenland. Or, to state this more accurately, Greenland was once at the North pole, because of massive crustal deformations. And that was a very long time ago.

The odds that this is NOT true is an amazing 1 to 5.91×1025.

It gets even more amazing because we have found the location of this former geo pole. The distance from Teotihuacan to its pole, and the distance from Giza to its pole, which our current geo pole, happens to be the same. Teotihuacan was built at the same latitude as Giza – 29.975°.

With this knowledge, we can reconstruct the deformation of the crust due to the crustal displacements. By using the whole matrix of over 910 ancient structures spread around the globe, we were able to reconstruct with advanced mathematics what really happened with the Earth’s crust over the last 440,000 years.

On top of this, the Earth has grown a bit during the cycles. That means that the Earth’s diameter was smaller in the era of Teotihuacan, to be more precise 0.0392% or 5.0 kilometer. The Earth has grown mainly in the Pacific which caused a massive push on the other side of the hemisphere. The Earth’s center of mass has changed and under the condition of a high eccentric orbit this cause massive crustal deformations. That is the reason why “ice ages” and eccentricity exactly match.

Teotihuacan Was Oriented to a Mathematically Proven GEO Pole

Fig. 5: The analysis of the full dataset produced spectacular results. The center latitudes of the nodes correspond to temperatures changes of the last glaciation cycles. The odds 1 to 750,000 that the relation of the distances between the nodes and the temperature changes is purely coincidental. It is the ultimate mathematical proof. | © Mario Buildreps

How the Movement of the Geographic Pole is Proven

Fig. 6: Teotihuacan was once aligned to its “own” geographic North pole, namely Pole III that was then at another location. This was more than 200,000 years ago, which is the TRUE age of Teotihuacan. The distance from Giza to the North pole = distance Teotihuacan to its former pole. That is WHY they are closely related. | © Mario Buildreps

massive number of ancient pyramids and temples, all around the world (thus independently), point to that same small area to which Teotihuacan was oriented. We can now calculate the probability of this phenomenon.

Why? Because all these structures are independently oriented one from the other, and therefore we can treat their orientation as an independent mathematical property.

How this proof is delivered is extensively explained in our other articles, and it irrefutably proves that the geographical pole has seemingly changed its position due to crustal shifts, while there were already civilizations present on earth.

Such catastrophic events wipe almost everything off the face of the earth. They are related to the Great Floods. Note the plurality. Half a dozen civilizations were wiped away. Most of the evidence is gone now or scrambled and jumbled, leaving one big mess behind. That might explain many “mysteries” regarding humanity’s past.

Science, and especially archaeology, climatology, and geology, must deal with immense errors in its core tenets. In fact, we can regard these disciplines as practically irrational and still in their infancy. Mathematics, as the Queen of Science, towers above all scientific branches and does a marvelous job at debunking their irrational and unfounded theories.

Why Teotihuacan was Abandoned by its Builders

Fig. 7: Teotihuacan was built between 210,000 and 225,000 years ago. The probability of this claim is higher than any other claim regarding the age of Teotihuacan. | © Mario Buildreps

The most logical explanation is this: The ushering in of a new ice age, which was, in fact, an earth crust shift, repeatedly extinguished entire civilizations. It happened in the past and it will happen again in the future. The few survivors that remain after such a catastrophe then start to roam the planet looking for better places to settle.

Climatic zones change very slowly. The sunrise and sunset change. The solstices start to change. The earth is in great turmoil with tidal waves, volcanoes, and mega-quakes. People invariably revert to a primitive survival mode and are forced to scavenge for sustenance, as they did in the so-called “stone age”.

Species Seemingly Appear Out of Nowhere

Scientists, or the controlling paradigm as you might call it, perceive of a human species coming from virtually nowhere. This species, Homo sapiens is supposed to have migrated to the North. If this is true, then it is literally running after the shifted pole to the North. It seems virtually improbable that species arise from nothing. Logic supports our idea that they, in fact, originated from a highly advanced race that flourished many thousand years earlier.

When you look at the other side of the globe, Russia for example, all species started to run to the South. It explains the massive number of frozen animals, like the mammoths in Siberia. The idea that they were flash frozen by a sudden event like Hapgood suggested, might have merit but is very weak, because the whole concept leans on a few, very hard-to-prove observations.

The fact is that everything archaeology has done in the last century needs to be re-evaluated. Much of the information that people have been subjected to by the mainstream media and Academia needs to be regarded with much caution – even distrust.

The Five Massive Mathematical Clusters

Fig. 8: This animation shows how the crust has been displaced in 4 stages over the last 350,000 years. Teotihuacan belongs to Pole III. The red dot represents the geographic North pole, i.e. the rotation axis of the Earth. The red dots become larger for older geographic poles; this indicates the growing deformation of the crust. All 5 geographic poles (including our current pole) are mathematically proven. The skin of the Earth deforms radically during a high eccentric orbit around the Sun due to the gravitational oscillation. And this is what has caused the waxing and waning of “Ice Ages”.  | © Mario Buildreps

How Old is Teotihuacan?

Teotihuacan was built between 210,000 and 225,000 years ago. The top structure was probably renovated by the numerous cultures who re-occupied the city over the many succeeding millennia, but the foundations never changed their orientation.

This and much more will be published in our book that might (metaphorically speaking) shift your paradigm in the same way as the earth crust did. Note that the next crustal shift is not expected to happen in the next few centuries. Forget the fear mongers and doomsday preachers who proclaim that Earth will soon be destroyed. We are still in the aftermath of the last catastrophe and will have a lot of work on our hands to deal with that.

  • I visited most of the sites in Peru and you don’t have to be an archaeologist to see that the cultures that mainstream archaeology attributes the structures to built on top of much older and more finely worked stones. That’s not even taking into consideration the size and weight of the stones. Even just looking at pictures of other sites around the world it’s obvious.

More and more evidence from the Comet Research Group is proving from various methods that the Earth was struck by a series of comets around 12,800 years ago. Under the Greenland Hiawatha Glacier is a huge and relatively recent crater. Black matte layers around the world show of a great burning, and the return of glaciation for 1200 years afterward in the Younger Dryas period which ended as suddenly as it started with higher temperatures and sea level rises.

How to comet/asteroid impacts affect your theory? It seems we have been struck more often than scientists have claimed, do impacts affect the displacement of the Earth’s crust?

When ice sheets form on the poles, they take water from the oceans and store them in thick ice packs–which have a great deal of weight. Does the change in weight on the poles affect your theory? We know that after the ice sheets melted in North America, the land literally bounced back.

What is the estimated time from start to finish of an Earth crust displacement? How do we recognize the early signs?

    Thanks for all your work!

Fascinating work! I am interested in your thoughts on the ancient sites of Bolivia and Peru. I have visited both countries on an archeological tour during several trips. I have always been convinced that many of the megalithic structures and ancient sites are a lot older than current archeology suggests.

Key Sites in South America would be:

    Tiwanaku/Puma Punku, Bolivia
    Sacsayhuaman, Cuzco, Peru,
    Ollantaytambo, Peru
    Macchu Picchu, Peru
    Chachapoyas, Peru
    Nazca, Peru

    Hi Mario,

I so admire and respect your work! I was wondering if you have a list of the 552 structures divided among the 5 polar shifts. I’ve tried to do it according to your maps and I type with a stick in my mouth and I can’t keep up. It would be a major addendum to what I am working on which I will gladly send to you if I can attach it to an email to you. It’s a text document, I’m so old school I don’t use Word, thanks for your incredible work and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Greg, thank you for your comment. Why we haven’t published this list has a clear reason which has to do with how the mathematical proof works in detail. I believe it is somewhat difficult to explain in lay terms but I will try. The fact that one specific monument is oriented under a specific angle, let’s say the pyramid of Kukulkan, does not mean that this pyramid is as old as the pole it is pointing to. To proof the age of that specific monument requires much more detailed mathematical proof, so that coincidence can be excluded.
But the simple fact that over 60 monuments point to one specific location provides instantaneous proof, because the odds are simply too small for this arrangement to be coincidental. But it DOES NOT proof that every individual monument in this list of 60 is as old as that pole – that is not how mathematical proof works. I know, it is maybe difficult to grasp.

The same principle counts for studies to mass behavior of crowds; it’s simple how large crowds will behave in a certain situation, but it is impossible to predict with high certainty the behavior of one individual.

That is the reason why this list is not published without a severe study to every single monument, and that work will still take many years to come. Thanks for stopping by, Greg.
